Anthony Bourdain AND Eric Ripert are coming to Boston for a “talk.”

Would it be absolutely insane to spend $200 for a VIP Package that includes:

  • (1) VIP Seating Ticket (located within the first 6 rows)
  • Exclusive Post-Show Meet & Greet Reception featuring hors d’oeuvres
  • Photo Opportunity with Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert
  • Limited Edition Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert Tour Poster
  • Limited Edition Tour VIP Laminate

Not gonna lie, I really just care about the first three items on that list. Seriously, a photo with Bourdain and Ripert and hors d’oeurvres? Combine those two into a gorgeous man in his mid-20s to early/mid-30s, and you’ve pretty much got my ideal man.

Even with that and knowing how much I would regret not making the jump, I still can’t fully justify spending $200 right now.

Public food market gets $10m promise - The Boston Globe

Boston is finally slated to get its own downtown public food market — a showcase for dozens of New England agricultural businesses that will sell locally grown produce, artisan cheeses, seafood, and meats.

So exciting! Even if it is only a little like Seattle’s Pike Place Market, I’m sure I will love it!
